He aquí el mensaje enviado a la comunidad de fans de Queen via la presidenta de Aussie Queens:

Dear All,

I wish to give you all an update to the situation regarding the floods now affecting most of the east coast of Australia. It was only a couple days after I last spoke to you all about the floods that more flooding and more torrential rains came roaring in over the east coast of Australia now leaving many of the East coast river systems swollen and in many places flooded. None of us were expecting floods of this size and these levels to occur. So many Australian's have been caught off guard. According to the Herald Sun newspaper "QUEENSLAND'S flood crisis is likely to cost the nation $30 billion." (pusblished 15th January 2011). Other flooded affected areas of the east coast like northern parts of New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania are also facing enormous damage and rebuild costs (not a big as Queensland of course).

As for where Aussie Queens is hosted online. It is based in Bendigo. I just saw a map of the flooded areas in Victoria and nearly every now next to Bendigo in a 360 degree circle flooded. Some how we have been spared whilst neighbouring towns have completly flooded out. So the floods were close and continue to get closer every day. I would like to ask you all to donate to the Queensland Premier's relief fund from our international friends as the cost of these floods Australia will not be able to manage on their own. Australian's have always been there for other international crisis's and have always been generous with donating to other international appeals for relief funds during natural disasters. In my opinion it is our turn to ask for some help back. I must urge you all to please only make donations through this official Queensland Government department.

Information can be found on this website: http://www.qld.gov.au/floods/donate.html This is the official url for the Premiers Disaster Relief Appeal which is the only fund we are been advised by local media houses to donate to as already Australian's are getting hit with scams asking for money which is not part of the Premiers Disaster Relief Appeal.

My sincere sympathy goes out to all Australians suffering losses from these floods. I would also like to send my sympathy for all those throughout the world that seem to be going through similar natural disasters. I guess this is an abnormal weather pattern from mother nature and makes us all ask why is this happening on this level and what will our governmental bodies do to try and set up more sustainable ways of integrating human settlements and production with nature.

Every time I wake up to a new day I am getting greeted by yet more bad news another nearby town is getting evacuated and flooded out. It is just surreal and Australians have seen plenty of floods and droughts in their days but nothing on this level and the flooding alerts just keep on rolling in each day :(

We would like to thank The Mexico Queen Fan club for their show of support for us Australian Queen Fans suffering from the floods.

He aquí el primer video que aussiequeensDOTcom comparte con los fans de Queen en el cumpleaños de Roger.

Nicole envía un mensaje en el que les recuerda a quienes deseen subir videos de Roger que ya lo pueden hacer y si gustan aún pueden enviarle el enlace, ellos ya iniciaron el Maratón debido a la diferencia de horario (como lo comentamos anteriormente en Australia tienen un día de diferencia respecto a nsotros y ya es 26 de julio). Asimismo envía saludos y un agradecimiento a quienes se han sumado al proyecto y han subido videos y audio.Finalmente señala que si desean apoyar el proyecto, mas no cuentan con material disponible qué compartir, se les agradecería inmensamente el que compartan en sus propios sitios de Facebook los enlaces de los videos que se han subido.
